Why "cheap" inspections cost more
A Rs. 1,000 roadside check that takes 15 minutes usually means a mechanic looks under the bonnet and taps the panels. It cannot tell you whether the core support was welded, whether the CVT judders when cold, or whether the odometer was reversed. One missed frame repair on a Rs. 4 million car is worth more than a hundred inspections.
How the inspection pays for itself
